Is Barack Obama qualified to be president of the USA? Look at the facts!

Could you be a district manager at MacDonald's with only 143 days experience?

or a head nurse with 143 days of experience?

Is the president of the USA a job which someone gets in and "gets on the job training?"

Has not served in the military AT ALL:

The president of the USA is "Commander and Chief of the US Armed Forces" and this is a time of one of the most difficult wars we have ever fought, the war on terrorism.

The president can make decisions WITHOUT consulting Congress or his advisors and he has his finger on the famous "red button".

Would you really feel comfortable with giving that type of power to a person who has NEVER served in the armed forces?

In Contrast, McCain graduated from the Naval Academy and served many years WITH HONOR as a COMMISSIONED officer.  He was not only supervision in the armed forces but a military strategist as well.

Remember our intelligence in making military decisions rests with the President - wouldn't you feel safer for your kids if that person was a Commissioned Officer than with someone who has NEVER served?

Diplomacy:

At the first presidential debate, Obama made so many errors about diplomacy that McCain was constantly correcting him. One of the glaring errors he made that I remember, was saying (and he's said this many times) "we have to find and kill Osama Bin Laden".  Do you think this is really smart to say that on National TV openly like that?

Obama also said something about attacking one of the countries - again McCain corrected him "You don't TELL them you are going to attack if you have that plan!" McCain told him!

Creating a media event in Iraq and Germany is NOT diplomacy!

McCain has many years of diplomacy under his belt - wouldn't you feel more comfortable with an experienced diplomat heading our country?

Guarantees to appoint judges who will continue to legislate from the bench: At present, the courts are out of control, overriding our Legislative Branches of the government, as well as overriding the will of the voters, and thus, unbalancing the system of "checks and balances" guaranteed in the Constitution.  Obama promises to continue allowing this when he appoints judges, whereas McCain promises to appoint judges who UPHOLD the Constitution and to restore the system of checks and balances.

Obama's Campaign promises are vague:

1. Won't raise taxes: "They tell you they are not going to tax your family. No, they're just going to tax "businesses!" So unless you buy something from a "business," like groceries or clothes or gasoline ... or unless you get a paycheck from a big or a small "business," don't worry ... it's not going to affect you." (Fred Thompson at the RNC)

2. Will stand up for the "working class":  When he stated on national TV what a pain the working class was because they "bitterly cling to their guns and religion"?

3. Will return jobs to the USA:  How is he going to do this when American manufacturers are outsourcing jobs just to keep in business.  American companies which did not outsource have gone under!

4. Will force insurance to pay for pre existing conditions: Insurance is already overloaded with all the elective surgeries.  Who ultimately pays for this?  The people who get insurance pay for it.  When insurance rates are already very high, how high would this additional burden make the rates?

Obama is promising things he cannot DO.

Obama's background - questionable

1. Was Obama really born in the USA?  No one knows because his campaign refused to show his birth certificate. (internet research claims)

2. Obama was alleged to be involved in Real Estate with Tony Resko, a convicted felon who supported Obama for election to the Illinois state legislature. When Obama ran for US Congress, Resco was on his campaign committee as a contributor and a fund raiser.  (Article from the Chicago Sun Times, Jan 24, 2008)

Obama also has associations with other questionable individuals in the Chicago area, one of whom was said to be being investigated by the FBI:  (article from Washington Times Oct 3, 2008)

3. For 10 years, Obama attended a church which was thought to be by some people as a bit on the black militant side and he only dumped that church when the media found out some things his pastor was saying.  Does that mean he doesn't agree with that pastor when he attended that church for 10 years?  (Obama said before he dumped the church and its pastor that he never could dump this church... and then, he dumped them)

With no experience in the armed forces, very little experience in politics at the national level and a questionable background, what does Obama offer?  Very little more than a charming personality and empty promises and a belief that the American people are not very smart. (and a guarantee to support the death of millions of future American citizens in the womb)
